American Enterprise Project - 6th Grade Business Fair

Sixth Grade Business Fair

Zackary Bruce, Ally Slahtasky and Josie Wynecoop co-chairs of the Davenport FBLA chapter’s American Enterprise Project taught the sixth graders about the basic principles of the American Enterprise System. From there, the sixth graders were split into groups and had to create their own “small business.” After a few weeks of the sixth graders working on what their good or service for sale would be and their business poster, the elementary students were able to attend the business fair on Friday, February 3rd. We are very thankful for the school’s support and the sixth graders creativity in their businesses. There were a variety of businesses from selling root beer floats, hand crafted jewelry to different games students could play to win a prize. These students are paving the way to be future entrepreneurs in our community.
